Soracent is a perfume brand for people who live, work and celebrate in India. We make Extrait de Parfum fragrances with Indian weather, skin, seasons and occasions in mind. A scent has to cope with a hot commute, a crowded wedding hall and a humid evening, not only a cool showroom.
Why we started
Buying perfume online is a leap of faith. You read a list of notes, look at a bottle, and hope. We wanted to make that leap smaller. So we built Soracent around two ideas: perfume made for the way you actually live in India, and a way to try it before you commit.
What we make
Our range is ten fragrances, each an Extrait de Parfum in a 50ml bottle. Extrait is the most concentrated type of perfume, and ours carry 25 to 30 percent fragrance oil. On every product page we list the note families, such as woody, aquatic, floral or gourmand, so you can see where a scent sits before you buy. There are fragrances for him, for her and for everyone.
Discover before you commit
Our discovery sets hold five 8 ml scents, 40 ml in total, grouped into four themed edits: The Explorer Edit, The Sweet Edit, The After Hours Edit and The Everyday Edit. Wear them for a week, in your own weather, on your own skin. When you find the one, put your set discount toward a full bottle (terms apply).
How we talk about perfume
We keep it honest. We tell you the note families, not promises about hours. How long a scent stays depends on your skin, the weather and where you spray it, so we would rather you test it than take our word for it.
